Upper House is situated on the top two floors of the main school building, and started life as 'School House'. Over the years it has been Lower and Upper House and now both floors are called Upper House. Being in the main school building means that the boys are ensured a speedy and dry trip down to breakfast in the mornings, making them the envy of those with further to walk!
Upper House dorms have wonderful views across the grounds so that the boys can watch staff cricket matches in the summer and the snow falling in winter. Each boy has space to personalise his own area by putting up photos and posters; the dorms are also host to various menageries of cuddly toys!
In the evenings the boys spend a good proportion of their time in the snug where they read, play games and enjoy a drink and a snack. Snug highlights include Thursday's 'Hot Chocolate Night' and the Saturday film evening.
The Lodgeparent is Mrs Pandy Stoop. Pandy is a Year 4 teacher and known throughout the country for the superb plays she puts on.
