Arrange a visit
If you are considering Summer Fields Pre-prep or Prep for your child, we encourage you to visit the school to experience all we have to offer first hand. You can do this by attending one of our open mornings, coming to a Pre-prep stay and play session or arranging an individual visit.

Open mornings
We hold several Open Mornings each year, to which all prospective parents and their families are warmly invited.
The day starts with coffee with the Headmaster and other members of staff. You will then enjoy a tour of the school in the company of one or two of our Year 7 tour guides. These boys will tell you everything there is to know about the school, and are enthusiastic and honest founts of wisdom. We do not prime the boys or staff to do anything out of the ordinary during the morning, so it is your chance to see Summer Fields running as it always does.
Our next open mornings are being held
- Pre-prep - Friday 12 May 2023, 10.30am - 12 noon
- Prep - Saturday 20 May 2023, 10.30am - 1pm
If you’d like to attend please complete our online enquiry form and our Admissions Team will be in touch.
Pre-prep 'Stay and Play'
Prospective Pre-prep families with children aged 4 and under are invited to come along to our termly Stay and Play sessions. Here you and your child will have fun taking part in a wide range of activities and make new friends whilst meeting our Pre-prep staff. Light refreshments are provided giving you the chance to chat with other parents and staff whilst getting ready for the session. All sessions are free, but places are limited and available on a first come, first served basis.
If you'd like to attend please register your interest by emailing Christine Berry Registrar or calling her on 01865 459204 / 07483 357895
Our next Stay and Play sessions are:
- Thursday 16 March 2023, 9.30am - 10.30am
- Thursday 4 May 2023, 9.30am - 10.30am
If you’d like to attend please complete our Stay and Play booking form
Individual visits
If you are unable to attend our open mornings we are happy to organise an individual visit. These last roughly one hour and involve meeting the Head (Joanna Chapman for Pre-prep or David Faber for Prep) and having a tour of the school, so you see our facilities and experience the atmosphere of a normal school day.
We appreciate that it might be difficult for overseas families to visit us. If this is the case then we can arrange for you to meet our Pre-prep Head Joanna Chapman or Prep Headmaster David Faber online and advise you to view our virtual video tour and explore our interactive map.
