Tom joined Summer Fields in September 2021 as Head of Physical Education. Having initially embarked on a career coaching football at various levels, he was approached to join the PE staff at The Manor Prep School in 2010. Whilst working there, he achieved First Class Honours in Sport, Coaching and PE at Oxford Brookes before adding a PGCert in Education (Leadership and Management) to his academic honours the following year. 

During his studies, he developed a passion for arming future generations with the confidence, motivation, knowledge and physical skill required to live happy, active lifestyles. Tom is also a sportsman in his own right. Having appeared in a National Final at Wembley Stadium, and played academy football as a child, he then went on to represent some of Oxfordshire's biggest non-league clubs, including Oxford City and Wantage Town at Southern League level. Now an avid runner, he continues to live an active lifestyle of his own. 

Much of Tom's spare time is enjoyed with his wife Megan and their young son and daughter.
