“I am delighted to announce that John Floyd has been appointed as the new Head from September 2026,” said Jeremy Rooth, Chairman of the Board of Governors. “John articulated a compelling vision for Summer Fields that balances forward-looking ambition with the preservation of the school’s traditional values. His approach will ensure boys at Summer Fields continue to achieve excellent academic results and secure places at their preferred senior schools.”
“The Governors are looking forward to welcoming John and his family to Summer Fields. We are confident that John will build on the many impressive achievements of David Faber and, with his energy and expertise, will help ensure the school’s continued success”.
