    Teaching and Pastoral

After graduating the University of Exeter with a degree in Classical Studies, I worked at the King's School, Worcester, supporting students academically both inside and outside the classroom, and offering pastoral support to the Lower Years (Years 7 and 8).

I've started at Summer Fields as a member of the Classics Department, teaching Latin and Ancient Greek. I am a Hellenist at heart, and can often be found discussing mythology and the Homeric world with anyone who will listen! I really enjoy bringing the Ancient World to life, and exploring the connection between language learning and ancient literature.

I am also a competitive figure skater, and have begun training at the Oxford ice rink in the mornings before school. I compete nationally and internationally, and love talking about my involvement with paralympic and Inclusive skaters.

I live in Borva, and love spending time with the Year 4s in Lodge. More importantly however, my two rabbits have also moved to Summer Fields with me; Alfie and Libby have become firm favourites with the boys in Borva and Savage's, and the bunnies can often be seen at the window greeting the boys on their way back to Lodge!
