Carole was educated at Woldingham and Westminster before obtaining a BEd. in Modern Languages at Homerton College, Cambridge.  She taught French at secondary level in London and then designed and taught English Language Courses in France.

She has 3 children - both sons were educated at Summer Fields (2008-2016). She currently works from her home near Oxford, running a property management business as well as managing her husband's Orthopaedic practice. Carole has been a Governor since 2012.
