Teaching and Pastoral

Max went to Radley and New College, Oxford, before deciding to take up the family trade and teach. In addition to being Head of  Mathematics, he can usually be found managing his football, rugby and cricket teams, helping boys film and broadcast school events, or walking his spaniel, Bertie. As a choral scholar and musician he relishes little more than performing a concert of renaissance polyphony or, if feeling adventurous, some Bach motets. Other interests include sailing, cooking, and eating. Max is married to Rachelle, and they have two sons, Barnaby and Arthur.  Together they are Lodgeparents for Cottage.
