Having completed a Biology degree at Brookes University and then a PGCE at St. Peters, Oxford, Sally initially became a senior white goods buyer for the electrical retail chain Powerhouse. With the arrival of her two boys, Sally took up a position at her local primary school to enable her to spend more time with her family.  Sally furthered her training to teach English as an Additional Language and qualified as a Specialist Assessor affording her the opportunity to assess for exam Access Arrangements.  She joined Summer Fields in 2017 to head up the Learning Support and English as an Additional Language (EAL) team.

In her free time Sally enjoys fitness classes and is a black belt in karate.
