Summer Fields staff member, Ian Barrett, will be running the 2010 London Marathon in support of the Children’s Society. The Children’s Society is a leading national charity whose work is driven by the belief that every child deserves a good childhood. Through their network of projects, The Children’s Society’s helps over 50,000 disadvantaged children and their families each year. This charity provides vital help and understanding for those forgotten children who face the greatest danger, discrimination or disadvantage in their daily lives.
Thank you to all of the families who contributed to this worthy cause at the Red Choir concert at Burford Parish Church on Thursday 10 December 2010. All donations made at the concert will be added to the money that Mr Barrett raises through sponsorship.
