Remembrance Day
At 11am on Friday, the whole school gathered outside to remember all the boys and masters of Summer Fields who gave their lives for their country.
As the whole school stood in silence, Mr Sparrow read the 'Sonnet for the Madonna of the Cherries' by Viceroy Archibald Wavell OS, followed by members of 3LM who read out the Roll of Honour. Luke Newland and Nimo Hodges played the Last Post and Reveille. This Act of Remembrance will be followed on Sunday by a Service of Remembrance in the school Chapel.
