OSAC Dinner - 7th May 2010

On Friday 7th May, the Headmaster and the Old Summerfieldian Advisory Committee (OSAC) welcomed back more than 80 Old Summerfieldians (OSS) for a dinner at Summer Fields.
OSS spanning from the early 1950’s to the early 1990’s attended the dinner, along with some current and former members of staff. The dinner was held with the aim to re-engage Old Summerfieldians and promote the work of the Maclaren Foundation.
The evening started with drinks in New Room, followed by a tour of the school. Guests than sat down for dinner to catch up with old friends and to enjoy the excellent three course meal produced by the Summer Fields catering staff.
The Headmaster welcomed everyone, Nigel Talbot Rice, Chairman of the Maclaren Foundation, spoke about the work of the Foundation and Mark Soundy, Chairman of the OSAC, spoke about the Committee and its aims. Charles Churchill and Tim Lebus, OS and OSAC member, also spoke at the end of the evening, providing amusing anecdotes and memories of their time at Summer Fields.
We would like to thank the Old Summerfieldian Advisory Committee for the time, effort and work they have put in on behalf of the OSS and the School.
